Work inspired by different movements and artists in art history.
This advertisement was inspired by Dove's Campaign for Real Beaty and the Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli. In Botticelli's painting, Venus stands in the center naked as a symbol of beauty, both physical and spiritual. Dove's Campaign aimed to build self confidence by celebrating unique physical differences in women. I felt as though the idea of beauty in women and confidence were linked between this modern product and piece of art history.
These are coffee shop advertisements I designed with influence from Futurism. I was inspired by Fortunato Depero's Futurist Theater Company poster and his cover for Futurista.
This coffee advertisement was inspired by the Plakatstil aesthetic with references from Lucian Bernhard's poster design for Manoli cigarettes.
I designed this coffee advertisement to representative of De Stijl and was inspired by Piet Mondrian's style and grid, along with Theo Van Doesburg and Lazlo Maholy-Nagy's book cover for Grundbegriffe Der Neuen Gestraltenden, from 1925.
